BUZZI 55' STAB

The new Buzzi 55' Stab is a high-performance boat based on the military version FB 55' a v-multistepped hull, tested in competitions at speed over 100 mph, in very rough waters. With a beam of hull of 3.5 m ( 2.856 m with STAB® deflated) and a length of 16.40 m, is basically a narrow beam boat, for better rough water performances that has a great stability and buoyancy thanks to the STAB ® inflatables.

The cockpit can be equipped with a sofa with two-three seats (two during navigation); two seat-boxes and four Tecno G10 seats. The two seat-boxes give two more seats in the cockpit, and they can be used during navigation, thanks to the handles placed on the back of Tecno G10 seats.

In the right one can be installed a refrigerator, while the left one is devoted to storage of some equipment. Each of the seat-box has four glass-holders. On the boat sides, behind them, are placed a speaker of the Hi-Fi system and a watertight hatch. The left one is for storage of small objects, while the right one gives access to the distribution taps of the air conditioning system. Below the hardtop are placed four damped Tecno G10 seats, that are controlled by an electric actuator, which allows easy variable support, dependent on sea conditions, by the simple push of a button. Between the two rows of seats are placed the grillages for the air suction of the fancoils, which are placed below the cockpit floor. On the left side can be placed the sub-woofer of the Hi-Fi system. In the front part of the cockpit is placed, on one side, the wheelhouse with the driver's console. On the other side is placed the radio and air conditioning system console, with VHF marine radio, Clarion Hi-Fi system and Air conditioning system control unit for the cockpit.

BUZZI 55' RIB - with closed hard-top

The RIB 55' represents a new FB DESIGN challenge in the high performance boats world. This RIB uses the same hull of FB 55' but 60 cm larger. This hull has been two times Superboat World Champion and now is adopted by the Italian "Guardia di Finanza" for a high speed interceptor class.

The version with closed hard-top proposes 4 Tecno G10 seats and a banquette, but custom version is available for up to 15 persons. In the 4 seat version a spacious forward cabin with toilet and pantry is provided, as well as a dining area transformable in a V berth for two persons. Custom fitting for different deck layouts, vary from extensive sunbathing area, to rear cocktail area with refrigerated low table to a forward Jacuzzi.

BUZZI 55' RIB - with open hard-top

This other model with an open hard-top is a new version of the existing RIB 55', is based on a twin installation of caterpillar C18 (1.000 Hp each), with a top speed of over 60 knots. An astonishing speed for two mellow engines!

The boat is based on a central console with a rigid top that extends from the sides right through to the console in the center of the cockpit, covering from the elements four of our sprung dumped Tecno Twin seats and a comfortable rear sofa. Alongside of the rigid top there is a streamline spoiler which, thanks to its shape, deviates air and rain flow to increase passenger comfort. Forward of the driving console is a second L shaped sofa and the access to the luxurious forward cabin with galley and toilette.

BUZZI 42' RIB SPORT

The FB 48' STAB is one of the latest of FB Design innovative creations that has been developed to tighten the gap length of the FB Design model range. Featuring a multi stepped hull, the typical anti stuff bow and the integration of the drives, the FB 48' STAB is a winning hull well tested in many offshore powerboat racing.

With the STAB® concept, it's possible to increase the width of the boat maintaining the rigid hull unchanged, thus obtaining better performance in terms of floatation and stability compared to a rigid hull without tubular members.

The basic configuration features an hardtop open on the back, two rows of three Tecno Single Seats with electrically adjustable seating plane. The six seats are positioned inside the deep and well protected cockpit which has been designed to allow for the installation of ballistic panels. In alternative, the Tecno Single seats can be substituted by the more advanced Tecno G10 Seats with an extremely efficient sprung dump system.

Access to the cabin under deck where a toilet, a pantry and the sleeping quarters are located, is via a watertight door in the cockpit. In the dry cabin could fit also up to 6 Tecno Moto seats. A rotational seat can be installed on the deck at bow.

BUZZI 42' RIB SPORT

The new RIB 42' Sport, sport pleasure boat, is the evolution of the well known Tecno 40', which was the winner of many offshore races including the Miami-New York, this rigid inflatable boat is considered the best rough water boat in the world. The same boat is in use by many prestigious military corps and special forces (Italy, South Africa, Norway and Hong Kong).

The RIB 42' is capable of a speed from 55 to 70 knots, with engines like Cummins or Caterpillar.

The previous version of this boat, the Tecno 42', has led the way to the world production of large inflatable boats.

The RIB 42' Sport has outstanding performances, particularly in rough weather conditions where the large inflatable collar provides great stability and a continuous suspension system when in contact with the waves. The RIB 42' SPORT can be powered with different engines configurations which go from a minimum total power of 880 HP up to 1730 HP.

The cockpit is well protected by the high sides and the front windshield, and features four Tecno Single seats and a banquette, and is accessed from the large engine cowling (also used for sunbathing) through moulded steps. At the front centre of the cockpit there is the door that leads to the forward cabin. Spacious and comfortable it is fitted with a V shaped berth and a table that lifts and lowers on a steel structure. A separate bathroom with sink, toilet and shower is fitted on the right just after the entrance, and opposite is the small kitchen with fridge, sink and electric oven.

Optionally a special folding soft top can be installed thus closing the cockpit in order to protect the passengers from the sun, wind and rain.

The Buzzi 42' RIB is equipped with the new FB Design electronic throttle, which features separated throttle and gear controls, for improved safety. The gears are actuated through switches, which allows both operated by a single hand, allowing a superior manouvering. The trim tabs can be controlled either manually or automatically, the latter as a function of the speed, through an interface with the GPS. The boat is fully laminated in Kevlar 49 and it is equipped with rubber aviation type fuel cells that greatly reduces the risk of failure at high speed. Every mechanical element of the boat that is in the water is made from stainless steel, including drives and trim tabs.

Comfort and security are augmented by the four FB Design special Tecno Single seats, which besides the damping effect, an electrically controlled piston allows variable support depending on the sea conditions, so that the driver can stand up, sit down or adopt any intermediary position. The result: driving comfort and greater safety, even for long use in rough conditions.

BUZZI 24' RIB

The RIB 24' has been studied in a variety of deck configurations for different missions, with particular attention to crew protection and flexibility of operation ranging from river and costal patrol to interception and hit and run operations.

The stainless steel fuel tank of 200 litres is always positioned in the lowest and central section of the boat enhancing stability (by lowering the C.G.) and giving it some protection from fire arms. Optionally a rubber self sealing tank (aeronautical type) can be installed and the tank further protected with ballistic panels.

On dependence on the engine selection, the RIB 24' can be fitted with a rear cockpit to accommodate from two up to five operators, and the front cockpit can be built to fit both an operators cockpit and a front rotating seat or just an extended cockpit for carrying additional operators or equipment. The rear cockpit can be fitted with ballistic panels capable of sustaining either 9 Parabellum shots or the standard NATO 7.62 calibre. Due to the very low cockpit, the body of the operators is extremely well protected.

The inflatable collar is divide into 13 separate sections and its main purpose is to provide for additional exceptional stability and rough water handling, but as per all FB DESIGN boats, the RIB 24' is fully floatable and can navigate even without the collar. Substitution of the collar is immediate thanks to the rails to which it is attached to the boat. The reduced dimensions allow for up to two boats to be carried inside a 40' feet container (no trailer - one over the other), and to be easily inserted inside the C130 aircraft with trailer for transportation or without for air dropability.

RIB 10' TENDER

The Rib 10’ is the perfect tender for boats up to 45 feet, because it’s based on a revolutionary displacement hull, stabilized thanks to the three-sponson system. Directional system allows a central driving position, with the engine in the stern. The electric engine is ecological, powered from batteries, which, with a simple plug, are easily recharged even on board.

The inflatable collar of this tender goes all around the boat, making it extremely safe and well protected, without risking any damage to the mother ship.
